Hostess With The Mostess

I created this table for my husband's Birthday.
I think it would also be ideally suited for Father's day.

The design started with the unique wood log pile backdrop I created

I knew this was going to be the focal point so I kept the theme natural
and I tried to create an elegant display. I picked a natural palette of
white, beige and brown and added some green accents in order to
introduce some of my husband's favourite Pistachio treats.

The sweet treats included a chocolate mud cake covered in chocolate
ganache, brownies, pistachio financier, meringues, tiramisu, custards in
4 different flavours and caramel pots, all home baked. Recipes:
