My daughter simply adores all things princess. When she asked for a princess Jasmine party, I was thrilled to get started because I absolutely love turquoise and deep colors.

I decided immediately that I wanted to have a dress up area at her party and then decided to make everything in this area party favors for the girls to take home as well. But I knew I had to come up with something for the boys also. For party favors, we had crown lip glosses, princess rings, lip gloss rings, necklaces, bracelets, nail polishes, nail files, and tiaras. I purchased the folding blue fans from Luna Bazaar which were a hit on this very hot day! Other favors included were bubbles, whistles, bouncy balls, and compass rings for the boys. I bought blue beaded trinket bags from Luna Bazaar and filled them with toy golden coins. There were also purple and turquoise tutus for the girls and inflatable swords for the boys, which they loved!

To display the party favors, I used a dollhouse bookshelf from my girls' playroom that I created custom fitted ruffled covers for to give it the appearance of a tent. There was also a small vanity which I created a custom tablecover for and dressed up the stool with a custom cushion in fabric to coordinate. More party favors were displayed here as well.

In the same general area as the dress up center, I put a custom covered child's table and chairs for the "Arabian Sand Art" activity. All the children from 1-10 enjoyed creating their own sand masterpieces!

I created her invitations, food and candy labels, name banner, and welcome sign in the party colors. I also sketched Jasmine's palace onto a large sheet of styrofoam which I then carved out and covered with beautiful tapestry fabric from Joann. This was my daughter's favorite piece!

To add a little more to the theme, I purchased a really cool incense burner which looked like an authentic genie lamp!

I made the tablecloths and runners and added plenty of fun, frilly ruffles throughout.

There was tons of peacock flare throughout, starting with the peacock feather graphic on the invitation to the table arrangements to the peacock food picks, ending with the peacock paper lantern purchased from Pier 1 Imports. I hung other paper lanterns in various colors, shapes, and sizes which were purchased from Luna Bazaar.

I accented throughout the party using colorful bottles and glasses found at various places such as Hobby Lobby and TJ Maxx as well as using some pieces from my collection of irredescent vintage carnival glass.

The candy table was so much fun for me. I purchased the beautiful peacock sugar cookies and many of the peacock cupcake toppers from PartyCreative on etsy. The beautiful fondant ruffled flower toppers on the cake and cupcakes were purchased from SweetThingTopperShop on etsy. I made Oreo pops and baked the cake. I made the turquoise ruffled stands that held the Oreo pops using old plates and dollar store candle holders. Holding the peacock sugar cookies is a vintage framed mirror that I painted to coordinate.
