We celebrated my son's 6th birthday in Vintage Magic style. We greeted guests with a 36" red and whte polka dot balloon and poster directing guests to the backyard. In lieu of a "present" his nana and papa rented him a bouncy house with slide and his Oma and Nonno had a magician come to the party. I decorated the dessert table with paper fans, cookies + milk with vintage milk bottles, Top Hat Magic Cupcakes, and magic fruit wands. The gumball machine was a find at our local antique mall and as most of our guests were under 6, we added cherry sours (which weren't that sour) instead of gum. We added pennies to the rabbit in a hat popsicle moulds and that was a big hit for the kids. All of the DIY details can be found on my site www.stephaniepasutto.com.
