Imagine a lover of wine, a certified sommelier, a lady who is infatuated with cheese and has a love for organic vegetables and is ready to graduate!  What kind of graduation party do you think we get?  A wine-themed fête for sure!

Brittany is one of those few ladies that give it their all and achieve whatever goal she sets her sight on.  We had such a fun time creating this amazing event for and were honored to be a part of such a milestone in her life.

So the details:

DECOR:  Brittany and her husband have a love and appreciation for wine.  Brittany is a certified sommelier and has worked at some of the finest restaurants in Houston; therefore, has some amazing contacts in the wine industry.  A local wine distributor offered up their warehouse for Brittany's graduation party.  A planner and designer's dream!  A challenge?  Yes!  A challenge we wanted to take on?  Absolutely!  Nothing screams more excitement than designing a fab fête inside of a warehouse, giving us a blank slate for something awesome!

Naturally, the theme is wine! Bringing in the organic colors of a vineyard into a warehouse was a final choice.  We used a mixture of yellow, sage green and burlap.  Our goal was to re-use and use the natural elements of the earth as well as from the warehouse.

Brittany and her husband have an amazing fruit and vegetable garden, as well as an extensive herb garden.  We needed to make sure we incorporated these into the event somehow.

We used old wine bottles, wine boxes and old corks for all the decor.  Brittany also had some gorgeous drinking glasses that were made from actual wine bottles we ended up using for the centerpieces as well.

DESSERTS:  Who doesn't love some sugar???  We had a beautiful display set up out of wood pallets...yes...pallets from the warehouse!  Of course, we covered them up in burlap table linens and then created a backdrop out of wine boxes.  Add to that some candles in the mix, a little bit of foliage and you have some delicious platters filled with some sweet treats that disappeared almost too quickly!

A gorgeous cake in the shape of a nice thick book and a graduation cap was the center of attention on this table.  Decorated in red {in honor of the University of Houston's colors--Go COOGS!} with inscriptions of all the organizations Brittany was a part of, during her years as a student.  Next, we had some amazingly cute and delicious drops of heaven in the way of french macarons, brownies, blondies, and other assorted cookies.
