This shower is inspired by the mother-to-be's vintage hot air balloon nursery. Touches of hot air balloon images scatter the table, but the theme is not overdone. The actual hot air balloon I made was inspired by a party by Anders Ruff which they made a similar hot air balloon cupcake by tying a white balloon with baker's twine, attached the balloon to a straw which was standing on top of a cupcake (of the hot air balloon basket). Really cute idea! I ordered a hot air balloon shaped candy mold and made white chocolate hot air balloons which I put on top of lollipop sticks and stood in baskets. They worked great as table decor and were taken home by the guests to enjoy. Party printables are from the talented duo, Anders Ruff. Sweets included french macarons, gluten-free cake pops, sugar cookies and cupcakes. So fun!
