This party was undertaken in conjuntion with Canadian party printables business Spaceships and Laserbeams 'Boy Bash on a Budget' challenge. The idea is that stylists plan a dessert table armed with the printables set from any of the Spaceships & Laserbeams amazing range plus a maximum of $50 to spend. You can utilise anything you already own or can borrow as well. Having already requested the use of their adorable Cowboy printables set, I started off by ransacking my house for any props that would be suitable for use on the table and came up with rustic frames for food platters, old timber boxes, vintage suitcases and an old bakers bread loaf tin. I also had several metres of hessian material on hand from my son's dinosaur party. A few plastic farm animals from my son's collection were spray-painted blue to go with the colour scheme of the printables as well.
Food included haybale fudge, watering holes jelly, 'happy as a pig in mud' mousse, pig marshmallow pops, chocolate pancake stack (as I ran out of ingredients and my budget to make an actual cake) and selection of lollies I already had on hand.
