Hostess With The Mostess

The theme actually came about after we discovered a few store-bought decorations and goodie bags which included fine paper and tulle ballerina dolls.

At the time, we were also planning a girl’s tea party and decided to combine the themes.

Although the original inspiration of the party was a “ballerina tea party” the ballerina decorations took back stage.

Instead, the pure elegance of the tea party, with china sets, fresh flowers, colorful vintage printed fabrics and paper, all flourished and set the scene for this magical celebration!

The whole occasion was a success. The girls had a fabulous time, the adults too, and the decorations transported everybody to another time and place. Most importantly, the birthday girl felt like a princess for the day!

What we love about the tea party theme, also, is that it provides a great backdrop for gorgeous photos.

We took advantage of the golden afternoon sun to take lovely pictures of all the guests.
