Hostess With The Mostess

I can honestly say that despite being a Brit living on a remote Spanish island off the west coast of Africa, I LOVE Halloween.  I ADORE Halloween.  I’m not an events organizer.  I own a Deli called LA COCOTTE  www.comidaslacocotte.com in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria where we sell homemade style food and party food to go.  However this year I discovered your wonderful website and was inspired to design and make a Smurf party for a client.  It was a total success and encouraged me to finally create my own Halloween party.  I’ve spent my whole life wanting to throw a Halloween party, lying in bed at night dreaming up recipes and games.  But I was missing a key ingredient: a kid.  Imagine my delight when in 2007 I was told by my doctor that I was pregnant and that the due date was October 28!!!! Two dreams came true all at once: a beautiful baby and a brilliant excuse for a Halloween Party!!!!
This year that baby turned 5 and he’s inherited his mother’s fascination for all things Halloween.  Together with the chefs at my Deli we designed and handmade our very own Spanish Halloween Party.
