Hostess With The Mostess

I love to play around with different color schemes when decorating for the winter holidays. I can never decide which ones I like best. I love the warm tones of gold, copper, and maroon. I also love cool silver shades. For this tablescape I  used a nontraditional color palette. Coming from a family that celebrates both Christmas and Hanukkah, I like to use colors in my designs that people don’t associate with one holiday or the other. I decided to go with a theme that incorporated white, silver, different shades of purple, and of course a lot of sparkle!

I did many DIY projects for this tablescape and used coupons whenever possible.  I shopped at the Christmas Tree Shops, Crate and Barrel, CVS, Michaels, Joann Fabrics and  HomeGoods, where I found great deals!
