This past weekend, I had the pleasure of working on Adrian’s 2nd Birthday. Last year I also had the chance to design his first birthday (Muno Inspired) party which was a hit with the kids. Now that Adrian’s favorite Character is Mickey Mouse, his mother thought it was the perfect theme for her little one’s birthday celebration. We kept the theme playful by making it Clubhouse inspired and gave it a modern and cool touch by implementing the use of black/white chevron pattern to the original color scheme of red, yellow and black color scheme. The table was dressed in a red linen with a chevron runner in the middle and a banner of Mickey silhouettes and yellow stars. The clouds backdrop was paired with “trees” green balloons and a giant Mickey silhouette centerpiece to capture that outdoors feel seen on the cartoons. On display we had an assortment of candies in the same color scheme; the adorable candy tubes by Khaliah Gibson of The Confetti Armory (which all the kids and adults loved!) and the super cute and delicious cake pops by my friend Reyna Nunez and the fantastic cake by Laury of There Should Always Be Cake. The banner and paper details on the table were all done by Sarah De Jesus.
