We recently celebrated our daughter, Mazie's 3rd birthday. When trying to think of the perfect theme, nothing seemed more fitting than an emphasis on shoes, since she's developed quit an obsession. So with that inspiration, I set out to create a modern take on Cinderella. Pumpkins dressed up with gems, glitter and crowns, fun shoes, plus lots of sparkles and pink made her eyes light up!
Mazie and her party guests had their own special table. I made a chevron runner and then used cake stands and platters to display decorated pumpkins, jewelry, and shoes. Dressed up drink glasses and party favors made each spot special.
For the color combination, I found a shirt from Target covered in flats with a unique color combination of gray, coral, yellow, and aqua. Allison Kizer of Allison Kizer Designs created custom party decor to tie it all together.
What's a more fitting party game than designing your own shoes?! With a selection of feathers, gems, and other embellishments, the girls had a blast adding there own touch to their dress up shoes.
