Hostess With The Mostess

One of my husband’s favorite movies is ‘Wayne’s World’.  So, for his 30th Birthday, (being the crazy party-themer that I am), I threw him a surprise Wayne’s World party.
I created movie poster invites.  The colors were masculine & I placed funny quotes from the movie randomly throughout our home.  The cake was done by Designer Desserts in Valparaiso, IN-it was an amazing Red Velvet with cream-cheese filling & the ‘Wayne’s World’ logo on it.  I served Pizza Hut pizza & Pepsi , with a photo of my husband superimposed as ‘Wayne’ indorsing products.  Instead of confetti, I sprinkled guitar picks around the tables.  The movie’s soundtrack played in the background as guests enjoyed the candy bar.  The candy flowed out of drums.  And of course there were ‘Twizzlers’.   I also created bouquets out of drum-sticks.   If you’d like more details, just let me know!
