Hostess With The Mostess

The inspiration for my daughter's 1st birthday was the Nutcracker ballet.   I decorated a white Christmas tree with pink and white candy ornaments and tree topper, pink soldiers, pink balls, pink tissue paper flowers, pictures of my daughter througout her first year, silver flowers, and tulle garland.   I made a birthday wreath from tulle, ballet slipper ornament, a painted wooden #1, and bow that purchased off of Etsy.  On the dessert table, I made two marshmallow trees.  They were made with pink and white marshmallows.  I also carried out the snowflakes from the backdrop to the dessert table.  I made most of the desserts.  The desserts that I made were strawberry cupcakes, ballet slipper sugar cookies, candy cane mice cakes, ballerina chocolates, and my daughter's smash cake.  I purchased white fudge oreos, cotton candy, sixlets,  and pretzel balls.  My mom made the pinwheel cookies and peppermint bark.   

I purchased all my party printables from Belinda with Giggles and Grace designs.  I found her on Etsy.  She did an amazing job creating everything exactly how I wanted them.
