Hostess With The Mostess

We chose monsters as the theme for our son's 1st birthday. His name is Max and his loves his Monster Max book. I made most of the decor for his party, although the main character was inspired by book. My co-worker who is a talented graphic designer recreated the monster for all of the paper items. http://www.etsy.com/shop/MagnoliaLane1819

From there, I made a  4 ft tall foam board monster board where the kids could take their picutres, door monster wreath, the cake, monster pops, cookies, tissue monsters and Monster letters  . For favors the little ones were able to "adopt a monster" and for everyone else recieved m&m's. For food we had a build your own taco bar which was a huge hit we even had a margarita machine!
