Hostess With The Mostess

This year i decided to add a little bit of elegance to our annual family Christmas get together. 

My dad is not really a candy person and had previously mentioned that he would love a candy buffet that included chocolate coated peanuts as they are his favourite treat. So i thought that our Christmas Party would be a perfect way to incorporate his favourite treat into a Candy Buffet.

I chose traditional colours of Red and White with Gold accents for the table. The candy selections included, Strawberry Sour Straps, Chocolate Orange Balls, Red and White Jellybeans, Strawberries & Cream, White Lollipops & Vanilla Marshmallows. In addition I also inlcluded, Chocolate Coated fruit and Nuts, Chocolate Coated Almonds and a selection of Mixed Nuts in Shells.

The dessert items included delicious White Chocolate Mud Cupcakes with Lemon Buttercream, Vanilla Cake Pops, Marshmallow Pops, Sugar Cookies, Salted Caramel and Lemon Buttercream Macarons and White Christmas Treats.

My favourite part about the entrie table would have to be the mini stocking hanging cookies! They were a lot of fun to make and added a unique touch to the table.

The Backdrop was created using gorgeous red satin material and a 'NOEL" hessian bunting.
