For my holiday tablescape this year, I wanted to use metallic colors to create a glamorous tablescape. My inspiration came from gold sequin fabric that I used for the tablecloth and gold and silver plates from Crate and Barrel . This is a table that is appropriate for Christmas, Hanukkah, and New Year's.I bought a beautiful potted manzanita tree and draped strands of crystals from it's branches. The tree is lighted which only illuminated more light.I used some elements that I brought into my winter wonderland tablescape last year including the snow globe place card holders and ornament picks. This year, I designed place cards in platinum as well as tags in a chevron pattern to add to the stems of wine glasses. I displayed white rose balls in silver and gold mercury glass vases.I draped the middle of the table with gold, bronze, and silver layered tinsel. Metallic ornaments were wired to the tinsel. I kept the place setting simple. With simple platinum napkins, silver chargers, so the silver and gold dinner plates would "pop".
