Hostess With The Mostess

Kirsten works for a commercial photographer. When they worked a bridal photo shoot at Glen Echo Park, she tucked away in the back of her mind that when the time came, she would like to have her wedding there. And a couple years later, she did!

Kirsten and Matt selected the Spanish Ballroom as the venue for their ceremony and reception at Glen Echo Park. The Spanish Ballroom has a very distinct art deco look, and we knew that we had to work with it, not against it.

Since we were using one space for all 3 events, we had to bring in a lot of draping. We also brought in some great string lights, and some unique chairs to pair with the light blue linens.

Occasions Catering prepared a delicious buffet for dinner he band Nightsong kept guests dancing all night.
