I, along with family and friends, hosted a yellow and gray chevron bridal brunch for my cousin and his fiance. The focal point of the table was the tissue pom poms that I made in two different shades of yellow. They were hung from the chandelier by clear fishing line to give the impression of floating. They were various sizes. Some pom poms had rounded edges, while others were pointed. The table was covered with silver fabric. Pewter and clear glass serving pieces were used. Stanhope's http://www.stanhopes.com/, which is a local art, framing and stationary company made the yellow and gray chevron invitations as well as the matching toppers. The toppers had a scripted B for the groom's last name as well as some of the names of foods. Other food names were displayed in silver rhinestone place card frames. A variety of brunch type foods were provided, including sausage and egg casserole, bacon and brown sugar smokies, chicken and cranberry croissants, raspberry and apricot pastries, apple cake, lemon bars, orange cranberry muffins, blueberry muffins, veggie straws and ranch dressing, strawberry salad with poppy seed vinaigrette, mixed fruit and cream cheese dip, and donuts. The powdered and chocolate donuts were displayed in apothecary jars, as well as the mixed fruit. Yellow ribbon with matching food cards, that were also made by Stanhope's, were attached to the jars. Mocha punch and peach tea fizz were also provided.
