Hostess With The Mostess

We had a Bakery themed birthday party to celebrate my daughters 3rd birthday.  It was a girls only party, the only boy there was my husband (due to my broken toe and boot I was sporting).  Each girl that arrived at the party received her own apron, personalized with her name.  Once everybody arrived we opened the bakery.  Each girl had her own 2 layer 6 inch cake that was decorated in only white buttercream. ( I included 4 cake flavor options on the rsvp....funfetti, chocolate, strawberry and spice cake) On the table were bags of frosting with different tips, and many many decorations from flowers to sprinkles.  Once the girls were done with their masterpieces, we did the cupcake pinate and snacked on some yummy treats. We had our birthday celebration for Sydney and  we boxed up each girls cake to take home as their favor along with their pinate candy and aprons.  I decorated in brown, light pink, hot pink and off white.  We used table clothes in our colors, that were stipped in half long ways and hung/drapped them on the ceiling....much easier then streamers, and transformed our boring sunroom into the dream bakery in 10 minutes!!! This was a fun party to plan, to attend and remember.
