Hostess With The Mostess

I recently styled a dessert table and champagne bar for my 30th Birthday. I knew I wanted something colouful and vibrant with a little bit of sophistication. So I decided on the colours purple and teal matched with accents of black lace. My starting point was creating a gorgeous purple backdrop made entirely of crepe paper! I coordinated this with teal and purple table linen, alongside a range of my favourite sweets and desserts for guests to indulge upon. Macarons, Cake Pops, Chocolate Mousse and Cupcakes all featured on the dessert table.

I also styled a DIY champagne bar, complete with assorted champagnes, juices and fruits for the guests to make champagne cocktails. The backdrop featured balloons of various sizes to create the effect of bubbles escaping from the champagne bottles!
