My son's Barnyard Monster Mash was so much fun for us! Not only did we use the best local venue around, Foster's Produce and Corn Maze but the weather held out and so many of our friends and family trekked through the mud and chilly temperatures to come celebrate Halloween with us. Even my hubby for involved by painting the cutest monster for the monster bag toss. Following the food, desserts, and games, all the kids got to feed the animals carrots and watch the magic goat, Black Jack, do his carrot tricks. Once the animals were full, everyone hopped on the tractor and trailer for a ride to the pumpkin patch to choose their favorite pumpkin to take home.
The dessert table included a backdrop of monsters sewn on in all different prints of fabric. Some of the desserts I made included a small orange cake, lots of cupcakes, scary rice krispie monsters, zombie cake pops, brownie boo bites, and lots more! Everyone got a baggie of Barnyard Monster Mix (homeade caramel corn by none other than my mom) to take home also. There definitely is never a lack of sugar at any party we do! Sorry, parents.....
We played a few games including Pin The Eyes On The Monster, Monster Bag Toss, and the Icky Feeling Game (curtain from Pottery Barn), and a Scavenger Hunt (cards from Joann Fabrics).
