Hostess With The Mostess

My daugher has fallen in love with the old Care Bear cartoons dvd that I bought her for a road trip so when we started talking birthday parties she said she'd love a Care Bear party. Care Bear products are few and far between so to pull it all together I used the rainbow - which is a big part of not only the cartoons & movies but the main bear's belly symbol as well.

The only problem is that the gymnasium only allows you 15-20 minutes to set up before your party so I had to keep it super simple without giving up details and some craftiness.

I had painted wooden forks in a rainbow of colors, filled push pops with colorful gummy bears and designed a rainbow flag sticker for the container, and filled mason jars with a rainbow of colorful gumballs! The cake & cupcakes were delicous and darling and the chocolate covered oreos by Love & Sugar Kisses were AMAZING!
