Hostess With The Mostess

My daughter, Caroline, recently celebrated her 7th birthday with an outdoor movie pajama party.  She invited 50 friends (her entire school class).  Everyone wore pajamas and brought blankets for the show!

The party was set to start 15 minutes before sunset.  Guests arrived walking with a red carpet up the driveway and into the backyard.  I had spotlights on the sign "Caroline's Outdoor Movoe Theater".

The kids put down their blankets or sleeping bags in front of the giant screen.  They grabbed a hot dog and movie snacks to get ready for the show.  The sun went down and the movie began. 

After the movie, we sung happy birthday.  The kids grabbed a party favor - microwave movie theater popcorn and candy.  They had a blast! And, it will be a party Caroline will remember for a lifetime!
