Hostess With The Mostess

I had fun designing this party, at first when I was contacted by my client the theme she had in mind was Teddy Bear  theme but then changed her mind and decided Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. Great option in my opinion.

I immediately began the search for the perfect cake to be the center of my inspiration.
Something my client asked me was the name of the happy birthday boy  'DAMIAN''' on the dessert table.

Each wooden letter was designed with a character in the clubhouse, to make them more realistic I use a 3D detail on some of the wooden letters.

For the cake stand I use a small wooden bench that can be purchased at craft stores, black latex paint diluted with a little water to make it lighter and achieves the desired effect layer upon layer until the desired color.

I also used the same technique to the wooden boxes you use to put the goodies bags and add buttons to finish them red and yellow for the final detail.
Mickey mouse columns made ??of balloons were created by the birthday boy's grandmother, Marlene Barreiro.
