To kick off the ‘par-tea’, guests were greeted with a Tea Bar, expertly filled with all the fixings. Disposable tea cups were adorned by custom sleeves with 1's and 'Sydney's First Birthday' and 'Happy Birthday Sydney' on them. An assortment of teas were displayed along with all of the necessary accessories to choose from (honey, lemons, sweetener, etc.). To nibble on, guests were offered ‘par-tea’ sandwiches, a variety of scones, quinoa salad, berries and more. We created place-mats for each guest and lined the tables with different tea pots and tea cups filled with white, pink and green floral arrangements.
The sweet table was inspired by the pale pink ruffle birthday cake. We found a ruffled tablecloth that matched it perfectly and filled the table with cake pops, meringues, sugar tea-bag cookies and cake. Desserts were served and enjoyed on vintage saucers.
For favors, the little girls were given polka dot tea pots and the boys were given ceramic traveler mugs. Each favor had a thank you tag from the birthday girl.
