DINOMITE Dinosaur Party (8 photos)
I created this party for my son who turned 2 last week...I can't believe my baby is 2 years old. If you read about my daughter's 3rd birthday, you probably know that I use party planning as a distraction from being sad that my kids are growing up. It worked, because the party was a blast!
I used my DinoMite Dinosaur Party Printables to set the theme for the party...and that's pretty much all I used for the decor! I used my cake stand from my daughter's Cowgirl Birthday Party and the apothecary jars from every other party I do (because they're beautiful and awesome). The cute green basket is from Hobby Lobby for $2.50. Besides that...it was all printables and therefore, super cute and super cheap.
I have probably mentioned that I suck at baking (like really suck) so I made something that even I couldn't screw up: chocolate dipped rice krispie treats and brownies. PS these brownies are the best ever! My sister-in-law, Hilary made the cupcakes and they were so yummy!
Can you guess what my favorite thing was??? These super adorable party masks! The kids were a little reluctant at first, but Granddad put one on and the rest is history. They LOVED these masks and party hats! Sure, Riley thought it was an alligator, but the point is...they had fun!
