Hostess With The Mostess

The theme of this bridal shower was vintage chic with a fairy tale twist. The soon-to-be married couple's realtionship is often described by family and friends as a happily ever after fairytale. The bride and groom were instantly in love the moment they met. This fairytale love became the theme with signs leading to the shower saying "all because a boy kissed a girl" and "happily every after."  Soft, pink colors and vintage details completemented this theme, including a pretty, pink princess chair for the bride to sit in while opening presents. The bride loves breakfast foods, hence the brunch idea emerged. Food was bite sized breakfast foods such as french toast kabobs, fruit skewers, sausage balls, smoked salmon bites, donut holes. While guests dined, a string quartet played a melody of beautiful songs. Other details include a mimosa bar, with fresh juices and fresh fruit; a desert table with wedding dress cookies and pink cake pops, pink tables with white umbrellas with hung chandeliers, and a beautiful welcome sign that read "Welcome to Bree's Fairytale." All 70 guests left with a takeout box of wedding dress cookies, made by the bride's sister's bake shop, Deserts by Jen.
