Hostess With The Mostess

This was a tea party I threw for my female family and friends. It was in a beautiful green house reception area so it felt like summer even though it was February. Yet February was the perfect excuse to use pink and feminine colors. There were 12 place settings and each tea cup was different. There were beautiful flowers and vintage centerpieces. For the food there was petit fours, lemon cookies, and candied orange rinds, tea sandwiches, scones with lemon curd and Devonshire cream and my favorite- strawberries with a lemon-lavender sauce. All made from scratch!
