Bohemian, Bows & Arrows Baptism Celebration (45 photos)
I wanted to share a few pics from an adorable christening celebration we created for my little angel, Chloe. There are tons of handcrafted details all inspired by a gorgeous bow and arrow print I found on Spoonflower... the palette is so soft and pretty, peach, coral and aqua and the florals turned out absolutely amazing. See below for more details
We used peach, coral and ivory garden roses, lisianthus with teal thistle to provide a little dimension. We also used a few white protea stems for a bit of a southwest vibe and to sharpen up the look a bit. We create custom runners using the bow and arrow fabric that inspired our design. We used lots of vintage white milk glass with pops of metallic gold. We dipped white feathers in glittery gold and created kraft paper place cards for each guest. We also created a large frame backdrop with a vintage frame, chicken wire and a few handmade bow and arrows (dowel rods, paint and mini wooden hearts). The children’s table was created using a kraft paper runner with the children’s names written with a white acrylic paint pen and adorned with feathers.
We placed the desserts on a mirrored vanity chest and created a chevron bow and arrow backdrop. We also created a couple coral tassel poms for a pop of color. We plated all of the desserts on a few eclectic vintage milk glass pieces. We also made a little braided cake topper for the coral cake.
