The Studer Wedding on Sunday, July 3, 2011 was airy, crisp, and serene. The room was draped in white and dusted with gold organza sashes that provide just enough color. The sunshine coming through the windows gleamed upon the white linens and brought an immense amount of light to the room. The subtle highlights of teal and gold accented the neutral colors and complemented the natural wood work of the vaulted timber ceilings.

Placed at each table setting was a sugar cookie shaped to look like a wedding cake and a small vial of bubbles that were to be blown as the couple had their first dance. We were smitten with the 'mini wedding cake' cookies and amazed that not one looked identical. Each cookie had its own unique frosting color, design, and intricate flower or beading detail in shades of white or Tiffany blue. A small note was tied onto the wrapping thanking each guest for attending the wedding. It was a wonderful way to provide guests with a thoughtful and personalized wedding treat they were sure to enjoy.

The cake was amazing. It was beautifully decorated with quilting and white roses. The cake topper featured a porcelain bride and groom in a loving embrace that reminded us of the sweet-natured couple.

In addition to the gorgeous cake the bride and groom created their own candy buffet. They used sweets that tied in with the gold and turquoise tones but still delighted tummies. Tasty treats included: chocolate dipped marshmallows and pretzels in Tiffany blue colored chocolate, Reese's peanut butter cups, lollipops, Hershey's chocolate,  and jelly beans. The candy buffet was definitely a big hit with guests.
