This theme is all about easy-breezy entertaining and can be used for all sorts of summer celebrations – from graduation parties and pool/beach themed parties to patriotic celebrations like Memorial Day or 4th of July.

Most of the non-paper elements were purchased at Target and IKEA. I’m especially loving these tiny translucent glass vases currently sold in 3-packs at IKEA for only $4.99:

Being in sunny Florida, summer pool parties are a must! I love party ideas that can also be easily translated to other celebrations: engagement parties, birthday parties, or even a graduation celebration (yes, it’s that time of year, too)! What a fun way to welcome everyone’s favorite season, thanks!

where can i find those little paper lanterns. i love them

  17. Jenn @ HWTM May 25, 2010 at 10:42 am

Cheryl – the small paper lanterns are actually pulled from lantern string lights, and you can often find them at Target during the spring/summer (in the outdoor section), but these are the best places to shop online:

      Hi Kary –
It looks like something weird was happening with the main URL – but I just fixed it so you should be able to get to everything now. Thanks so much for the heads up! :)

I found your page on pinterest. is the “color your party” printables still available? I cannot seem to get it to work. Even on the main page, it said
