I’m so ready to hit the sand after seeing this adorable Pink & Teal Beach Themed Birthday Party! From the coastal style sweets to the blue chevron printables, mom and photographer Katie Cassidy, made everything for her daughter’s 4th birthday feel like a treasured day at the beach!

PARTY HIGHLIGHTS to look out for:

  • Pink yarn embellishments + “May The Beach Be With You” sign
  • Crispy Treat Starfish on “Beach” stamped popsicles sticks
  • Clam cookies on a bed of brown sugar “sand”
  • Waffle cones rimmed with pastel sprinkles and filled with popcorn!

PARTY DETAILS, as told by Katie…

I am a Dallas Texas wedding photographer that LOVES throwing my kids fun parties. My daughter recently turned 4 and we celebrated with a Beach Themed party hosted at our house.

I did not want a super traditional look and feel so I went with a modern/vintage twist. I loved incorporating the yarn and recycled paper with the bold solid colors. You can never go wrong with a chevron pattern so we threw some of that in as well.

I custom designed and printed the invitations as well as all the signage and labels. We made cute matching cupcakes and clam cookies as well as popcorn cones and chocolate dipped marshmallows. My favorite were the “clam” cookies. Kolbie, my daughter, loved the star fish rice krispies on popsicle sticks with “beach” stamped into them. For entertainment I made each child a coloring book and a salt dough ornament to decorate. The girls loved the personalized table settings with their name on everything! I have a girly girl and she was so happy to see it all come together!

Using brown sugar for sand…what a clever idea! I’m a fan of the ice cream cones filled with popcorn. Really unique ideas for a beach party.

Where did you get the brown flowered plates? I’m doing a similar themed party, and love the mixture of the teal and brown paper plates. :)
