    HWTM Team,

Thank you so much for featuring this party I styled and crafted with Lia Griffith! It was a labor of love, but oh-so-worth-it. There were so many fun hand-crafted details and I’m thrilled to share them with everyone on Last week she posted the tutorial for the kraft paper chip pouches, too.

My own family celebrates the 4th of July at my parents’ house outside of Portland, OR each year by watching + participating in a classic small-town parade filled with homemade floats, vintage cars, kids on decorated bikes, and the 4-H club on horseback. Kids on floats throw candy into the crowd, we top off the day with a BBQ and fireworks, and it’s a perfect way to celebrate our country. We created this party to evoke that homemade, old-fashioned spirit. I hope this party inspires people to celebrate with their family and friends in style, too! :)

    Thanks again!
    Lisa Frank
