Rainbow Layer Cake DIY

At HWTM, we are constantly amazed by all the creative, clever – and sometimes downright stunning – cakes from around the web. It would be a dream to be able to whip up any of these masterpieces, but if there’s one thing I’ve learned from our own parties & dessert table shoots… it’s that making beautiful cakes is hard work (See our 5 Amateur Tips For An Impressive Layered Cake here)!

So with that in mind, I thought it would be fun to highlight a round up of some fabulous online cake tutorials for my latest guest post over at Glam. While fancy cake-making can seem intimidating for a non-pro, there are definitely some impressive and surprisingly “doable” tutorials out there… which is perfect for someone, like me, who is looking to sweeten up their “sugar skills”!

This is super helpful for a not-quite-a-baker like myself. I try, and sometimes I succeed. But I really want to be good at it! I love the rainbow one, and think it might be good for my next party…will let you know how it goes!
