If you haven’t made Coca-Cola® BBQ Sauce before, there’s no time like the present – because it’s a fantastic way to flavor up your game day menu! Plus, if you buy your Coca-Cola in the classic bottle form, you can turn the empty bottles into a clever way to serve your finished sauce. 🤩
As I mentioned in Friday’s post, I’ve teamed up with Coca-Cola® this month to share some creative recipes for your big game celebrations. One of the best things about this recipe is that it’s incredibly versatile. You can use it on your favorite meat, on sandwiches, as a dipping sauce for your finger foods, etc.
1. Add all of your ingredients to a sauce pan over medium heat.
2. Slowly bring to a boil, then reduce heat slightly and simmer for around 8 minutes. The sauce should reduce by about a 1/4.
3. Remove your sauce from the heat and transfer to a bowl or jar to let cool. Use immediately or refrigerate until serving.
Here’s a closer look at the texture of the finished BBQ sauce:
Note: We used a plastic funnel to transfer the finished sauce into empty Coca-Cola classic bottles for storing & serving!

Sauce made by Cocoa Cola and ketchup? Doesn’t sound very healthy, but maybe it’s delicious.
