Styled. + “Chocolate Toffee Sparkle” Theme

Quick Jump To » Comments

I’d like to extend a HUGE congratulations to my friends Vicky and Carly on the launch of their brand spankin’ new design/party e-zine, aptly titled Styled. It’s amazing how much time and hard work goes into an effort like this, and of course it turned out beautifully, not that I expected anything less! There’s so much great DIY inspiration in here for all sorts of celebrations though – from adorable party hats by Liz Stanley (pg. 44-47) to cool paper confetti garlands by Paper and Thread Studio (pg. 36-37).

I’m also excited to be a small part of the debut issue with this “Chocolate Toffee Sparkle” adult birthday party theme (pgs. 122-126) that I designed for the “Wardrobe to Party” section (which starts on pg. 108).

I really did have fun getting crafty with this one…especially with the “faux cake” centerpieces! I’ll do a more in-depth DIY later, but basically they’re made from unfinished wood pieces and round paper mache boxes embellished with printable patterns, glitter, paint, metallic trims, and yarn pom “sparklers”. Pretty fun, right?! And completely calorie-free! =)

    Hi Jen,

I love the theme and colors.

I'm wondering if there is a birthday invite that goes with this theme.

Would you mind letting me know and where I would be able to view it or print it?

    I appreciate it!
    Tracy
