Happy Trails Spring Baby Shower

I seriously think ruffle cakes might be my new favorite thing! There’s something so lovely and feminine about them… making them a perfect addition to sweet occasions like bridal & baby showers.

And speaking of ruffle cakes, check out the beauties starring in this fun & whimsical HAPPY TRAILS Baby Shower created by Katie of Saving Dates. She did such a great job arranging tons of different treats (including cupcake push pops and adorable candy-filled mason jars!) and mixing in decorative elements like hanging pomanders and flowers for a decidedly “springtime” feel. This theme & color palette would work well for summer showers too!

PARTY DETAILS, as told by Katie,

***

Decor:

“I used my own custom printables for cupcake toppers, bunting banners, food labels, water bottles and more. I made paper pomander balls that hang from the ceiling with inspiration from Frog Prince Paperie.

Favors:

I made the favors using small mason jars filled with candy then covered in fabric piece with pinking shears then wrapped and tied with raffia.

Desserts:

We had several cakes and cookies made by Julie Mullen at Sugar Custom Cakes along with these adorable cupcake pushpops that were made by me.”

I’m so new to the world of party planning to this degree. It all looks amazing but I have a stupid question.. for those little signs, and cupcake toppers, how do you get them designed and cut for your party? is there a template or are they all designed, printed and cut from scratch?
