I’d like to share this sweet girly party; I recently planned for my dear niece Kiara Jolie. Our sweet Kiara loves the alphabet song (she lights up and starts dancing every time we sing it to her) so when my sister and I were brainstorming for theme ideas, we knew that had to be the theme for her party. I absolutely love how inspiration can be found in such random places and that’s exactly how the color scheme came about. The Pink, Green, White and Gray Polka dots Pattern was inspired by her birthday dress which she had received as a gift a few months prior. And there it was we decided to pair the two to create this fun and bright Alphabet & Polka Dots Theme Birthday Party. For those who've been following my work, you may remember my sister's baby shower (Dragonfly Ombre Chevron) was featured here.

{Invitation}:
As I started the planning for this cute Alphabet theme party, I contacted my friend Wendy of Green Beansie Ink (who had also done the invitations for the baby shower) to join in helping me bring the vision for this party alive. We worked closely in creating an Alphabet & Polka Dots invitation package that was modern, clean, fun and different.

{Venue}:
This celebration took place at Santorini Taverna where our closest family and friends gathered for an intimate brunch party. It rained that day (no party goes without a hitch) and at the last minute we had to quickly modify our plans for an indoors/outdoors party and because the space was limited inside, we opted out of balloons but still managed to maintain the modern and simple look we were going for.

{Tablescape Design}:
The tables were dressed in white linens, a simple napkin fold in alternating green and gray napkins and each table was adorned with beautiful hot pink carnations pomander centerpieces in lime green vases which were embellished with pretty double sided single alphabet letter toppers. We completed the look with sprinkles of multi colored (pink, green, gray) confetti around it.

{Sweets Table}: The Green and White served as the main colors used to create a clean and simple backdrop for the cake table. The sweets and candies were hand selected to also coordinate with the theme. And Dulce de Leche Bakery did an amazing job at bringing our cake sketch to life to perfectly take center stage on the table.

{Goodie Bags}:
The goodies bags consisted of color coordinated items and alphabet books for each child and were specifically custom made to match the theme. The white bags were embellished with a custom “ABC” label and two rows of polka dots (pink/green for girls and green/gray for boys) and each held a personalized laminated name tag keychain in the child’s name.

{Entertainment}: The kids were kept busy and happy with party entertainment from Lali The Clown who did a wonderful job at face painting, singing and dancing.
