PARTY DETAILS, as told by Paige…
How sweet it is to be three! A colorful sweet shoppe party is the perfect party for your little sweetie. What little girl wouldn’t want a party full of lollipops, ice cream cones and birthday cake? Charley is obsessed with all things sugar and since I’ve been wanting to throw a “Charley and the Chocolate Factory” party since she was born, I knew this sweet shoppe party was the perfect theme for her 3rd birthday.
The dessert table was filled with way too much sugar, but it all so tasty that party goers couldn’t resist coming back for more. The 3 tier cake from Hey There, Cupcake! perfectly matched the paper goods and tasted as good as it looks. Ice cream cake pops created by ‘kCreative’ Cake Pops are always the hit of the party. Homemade cupcakes topped with rock candy, chocolate bars, macarons by Baked and homemade mini donuts rounded out the sweets. My FAVORITE thing on the dessert table has to be the chevron candy jars of gumballs and sixlets, a little time consuming but so much fun! Lots of bribing with chocolate took place to keep my girls happy while I made these :)
The sweet yellow and white striped awning, vintage white table and amazing colorful vintage cake stands by The Sugar Rush Shop set the stage perfectly for our sweets display.
Each girls received a gumball necklace and the kids had a blast decorating sugar cookies. The lollipop pinata made by Whack matched the party perfectly and the kids loved collecting treats in their custom fabric favor bags.
Other fun decor included candy art made from sixlets, colorful shutters, seersucker pennant banners, custom stamped spoons with Charley’s name on them, and colorful mason jars to match the decor of the party.
The paper elements of the party include bright colors, festive chevron stripes, ice cream cones and lollipops. The sweet shoppe printable collection available here includes everything from the invitation to the party hats, water bottle wraps, straw flags, banners and more.
