1920s French Bistro Inspired Parisian Batmitzvah
On a summer trip, Reese was inspired by the Parisian lifestyle & architecture, so for her Bat Mitzvah Lisa of Step Brightly Creative Group created a 1920’s French Bistro Inspired Parisian Party to celebrate her special day! Brown polka dots, pink sweets & mini wrought iron dress centerpieces are just a few of the many charming details guaranteed to have guests saying ooh la la! ;)
PARTY HIGHLIGHTS to look out for…
- Iron Eiffel Tower centerpiece wrapped in pink & brown ribbon
- Vintage books, pink feathers & silver trays
- “Gateu au chocolat” (brownie bites skewered with striped straws)
- Marshmallow pops dipped in chocolate and white sprinkles tied with silky pink ribbons
- A vintage style venue with aged mirrors, worn wallpaper & rustic table settings
PARTY DETAILS, as told by Lisa…
Soiree ‘Pareese’ was a bat-mitzvah celebration for our young client, Reese, thus the name! She and her family visited Paris last spring where she fell in love with the architecture and Parisian lifestyle. Our location, artfully picked by our client, evokes the 1920’s French Bistro era. What could be better than vintage mirrors, worn 1920’s wallpaper, creamy lace, a vintage bar and rustic table settings? Pale pinks and creams, a customized stamped copper logo, and vintage table-settings help set the tone for the event.
The table settings included custom-made place mats with her personalized logo. Polka dotted and candy striped confetti surrounded wrought iron figurines including a Parisian lady and the Eiffel tower as the centerpieces.
The dessert table came to life with subtle colors, patterns and texture. Details like vintage books, pink feathers and tiny pink scarves tied around the rice treats added flair. Delicious pink taffy, cookies, and brownies had an extra boost with notecards written in French.
The guests had fun with a photo booth, and fantastic music including a DJ, professional sound system, lighting effects and confetti. The celebration lasted well into the night with smiles and laughter all around.

Okay… I HAVE to know where those napkins are from! I’ve seen them on a few blogs and would love them for my upcoming wedding. Does anyone have any idea where to find them?? Google searches haven’t turned up anything so far…
Christa, congratulations on your upcoming wedding! These napkins where directly from the restaurant, Miramar in Highwood Illinois. You can probably find them from a restaurant wholesaler.
This weekend I was at Hobby Lobby and saw similar napkins posing as ‘dish towels’ in the fabric section, you may have some luck there.
Thanks for committing on our party and good luck!
