Can you believe it’s already AUGUST? Me either. Time to squeeze in a bit more summer fun before fall is upon us! Speaking of which… while clearing out my inbox recently, this UV Salty Watermelon Vodka caught my eye. Watermelon is already my favorite cocktail flavor – so seeing the word “salty” appear front of it? Ya – I was intrigued. ;) So I brought a bottle to a party one of my friends was hosting, and let’s just say I’m not the only one that’s a fan of “salty + watermelon”… it went quick!

The other thing it did was inspire me…. to dream up an entire grown up pool party with a “Salty Watermelon” theme. There are so many creative pool/summer parties for the kids, but not a lot of creative themes when it comes to the adults, and this theme idea just really seemed to fit the bill of both screaming “summer fun!” and feeling grown up.  If you have time to squeeze in an end-of-summer bash for your grown up friends, here are a few things I’d recommend:
