Inspired by the classic holiday song, this clever little cookie tin is sure to DRUM UP some smiles! 😜

How to make them:

  1. I used 14 oz round tin cans for the base of this project, which is large enough to comfortably hold several 3” cookies. (The tin’s diameter is 3.75″)
  2. Use this printable template of triangles for the sides of the drum, alternating colors as you glue them all the way around.
  3. For best results, use a 3” circle craft punch or circle cutter for the circular label on the top of the tin.
  4. Cut pieces of thin wood dowels down to act as the “drum sticks”, and secure them with hot glue as well.

For the cookies:

Bake your favorite shortbread cookie recipe. Use the tip of a fork to add pretty impressions into the top of the cookies before baking them.
