These “flower flag” swizzle sticks featured in InStyle’s Southern Weddings gallery are such a cute idea! Created by attaching a small rectangle of paper to a wooden dowel and glue-gunning a yellow or green mum to it, these creative swizzle sticks are a great idea for dressing up signature cocktails and mocktails at any type of shower or celebration!

Have to share this with my little one! Started out with a collection of drink umbrellas, and these would certainly add to the look.

Those are so cute, but I want to know what the cocktail is! We are looking for ideas for a specialty cocktail for our wedding at the end of may.

On the InStyle Weddings gallery page, they note the cocktail as a “Lowcountry Lemonade”. I did a quick search and, as with most cocktails, found that the recipes for the cocktail vary a little from place to place. Below is the recipe from Firefly Vodka, and if you do a quick google search you should be able to find some more options too :)
Low country Lemonade
1 ½ oz Firefly
3 oz fresh lemonade
1 oz sweet tea
Lemon wedge for garnish
Pour ingredients into tin shaker of ice. Shake and strain into rocks glass of ice. Garnish with lemon wedge.
