I think the “JOY” flag in the centerpiece of this holiday table says it all, don’t you? …because this table by Courtney of Joyful Weddings & Events and Joyful Joyful definitely makes me happy just looking at it!

“This design is a sweet and simple holiday table, set up for a tasty dessert. Found Rentals provided the perfect vintage tables and chairs to set the stage, and Modern Bouquet created a beautiful, festive centerpiece of vibrant red blooms displayed in a white ceramic vase trimmed with red and white striped ribbon.

I placed one of my “JOY” holiday flags into the centerpiece to add some fun and cheeriness to the table. (These flags are available in my etsy shop and are great for centerpieces, home decor or as a holiday card photo shoot prop!)

On either side of the centerpiece, I placed knitted red and white striped ornaments (found at JC Penny for a couple bucks!) in small white ceramic footed bowls.

Simple white dishes were placed on top of red scalloped mini-placemats that I made (using a Cricut cutter), and each plate featured a giant (& delicious!) red velvet cupcake from Sweet & Saucy Shop. The cupcakes were topped with handcrafted ribbon flag toppers, which are also available in my etsy shop.

I adorned a water jug with one of my favorite ornaments from Paloma’s Nest – which says “Ring a Ling, Hear Them Sing“. The water glasses are from Anthropologie, and we used plain old striped straws from the grocery store, cutting them down to an appropriate size for the glasses.

To add a little holiday spirit to the darling vintage patio chairs, I tied on simple bows with red and white striped ribbon. All simple and easy ways to bring a little style and fun to your holiday tables and parties!
