PARTY DETAILS, as told by Alexandra…
“I styled a bumble bee party for a lovely 2 year old girl on April 16th. Her mom fell in love with the cake design and wanted the entire party to be inspired from this item. I loved working with the soft colors of yellow, green and white and tried to keep the accents of black to a minimum so the design stayed light.
I designed all the printables with little bumble bees and honeycomb shapes. Even the food signs and banner were shaped like honeycombs!
The favors were bee magnifying glass, yellow and green playdough, mini Hershey bars with personalized wraps, and bubbles put into little yellow tins. I also took advantage of foods themed, which were themed especially for Easter, by buying Easter colored M&M’s and separating out the yellow and green and Springtime Oreos which had yellow centers!

So cute! What a fresh lemon and limy palette!
So I threw a “Lil’ Sunshine” baby shower and incorporated a few bee elements but all these bee parties lately make me wish I used so many more. (Also, I’m from Utah, the beehive state. How great is that?) My sunshine party is here: https://diyingtobedomestic.wordpress.com/2010/09/16/my-little-sunshine/. Excellent job on this ‘bee’autiful party! :)

Obsessed with this theme so much it has convinced me to do my daughters first birthday as a bee theme! I am loving the magnifying glass favors how clever!!! Where can one get them? Such a neat idea to incorporate for the favors and to teach kids the different insect families!

I am a photographer out of Winnipeg Manitoba Canada.I am in love with photography! I have always been “that person” with a camera attached to me at all times, ever since I was a little girl for as long as I can remember. Now I want to share my love and passion with others and make them feel special and beautiful.
