Aliens Love Underpants Birthday Party Ideas

When I saw “Aliens Love Underpants”  come through in the email subject line for a party submission, I have to admit it immediately stood out… there’s one we hadn’t heard before! ;)  Come to find out it’s the name of a children’s book – and from the looks of this party – a super cute one at that!

Designed & coordinated by the very talented duo (Kate & Yolanda) from Australia-based Kiss Me Kate, prepare to fall in love with this colorful “Aliens Love Underpants” themed birthday party for little Diego, and all the playful details it brings… including a fantastic “underpants garland” and darling alien cake pops. (I especially love the ones with the huge gummy lips!)

PARTY DETAILS, as told by Kate…

“At Kiss me Kate, we tend to style parties with a pretty and vintage feel, so when we received this brief from our client we were very excited to put it together. Something a little different for us!

This party was for a little boy named Diego who was turning 3. Diego’s mom, Rodeliza, told us Diego loves the book ‘Aliens Love Underpants‘ so we decided to base his party around this book. Rodeliza also wanted a theme that was bright and colorful, so this book/theme was just perfect!

Kiss Me Kate Events is owned by myself and my business partner Yolanda. Yolanda does all the styling and I bake and design all the desserts, cakes, cupcakes and all things edible… so all styling for this party was also put together by Yolanda, while I spent many happy hours baking all the goodies! (Please note the planet cookie sticks in this party were based on a design by Cool Party Favors.)

All the cute printables were designed by Niki from Candy Soirees.

The favor bags were comprised of very cute personalized chocolate bars and a thank you cookie for the little party guests to take home.

The party was held at the ever so adorable shop Petit Atelier. The kiddies had heaps of fun at Petit Atelier making all things crafty!”
