My Spidey senses are tingling for this The Amazing Spiderman Birthday Party, styled by Shannon Helliker of Petite Party Studio! The outdoor city playground is amazing and would be so cute for other Super Hero parties. I am also loving those DIY red chocolate covered strawberries with milk chocolate webs and Oreo piece eyes — so clever! Don’t miss out on all of the cute Spidey details at this friendly neighborhood birthday party!

PARTY DETAILS as told by Shannon

My son Lincoln is a typical little boy who loves Superheroes, especially Spiderman. So there was no question for his 4th birthday that we do none other than a Spiderman themed party.

The dessert table was the main focal point of this AMAZING party! The chalk-cloth backdrop with hand-drawn graphics was hung to set the stage. The plywood tabletop was covered with vintage Spiderman comic book pages that sat on top of two metal trash cans and cinder blocks were used as display to give the table an industrial look. The desserts included a Spiderman cake, cupcakes, jello push-up pops, chocolate covered Oreo pops, Spiderman cookies and chocolate covered Spiderman strawberries. Also on the table, were Spidey masks and “webshooters,” cans of silly string, for the kids to play with at the party. There were containers on the table for kids to fill with candy, which included rock candy, red gumballs and Zotz. As for refreshments, there was none other than “Power Punch” of course!

To keep the kids entertained, we built a city out of cardboard boxes and construction paper. These were great as they served as decoration for the party and were a big hit when it came time to have a silly string fight and use them as protection.

The party was a huge success and “The Amazing Lincoln” and his “SUPER” friends had a blast!
