3, 2, 1… blastoff! Joelle Penafiel of The Party Starters Events was inspired by her son’s love of Angry Birds to create this AMAZING Angry Birds in Space Birthday Party! With angry bird and king pig inspired desserts and activities, these little cosmonauts were kept busy and happy up in “outer space”. This party is so out of this world creative, you might even say it’s one small step for man, one giant leap for Angry Birds! ;)

Calling all Angry Birds! It’s time to crash the party!

My son absolutely loves Angry Birds! So for his 5th birthday party, we had a space mission to complete: to create an Angry Birds in Space birthday party for his special day! We found the perfect space-themed party room in a local bounce play area with the most amazing outer space mural for a backdrop! With this as inspiration, I created the entire space-themed party around this amazing, HUGE planet and outer space mural!

Everything was created by hand — from the glittered golden eggs to the yummy dessert table treats and birthday cake to the party decorations around the room — there were also large wooden pieces on the treat table created to resemble the toppling wooden pieces from the game! Along with the party area’s bounce houses and the space ball launcher room next door, guests got a chance to create their own wooden fortresses to protect their pigs from “flying birds!”

For treat bags, guests were given personalized handmade gable boxes filled with fun and delicious treats. Each guest was given an Angry Birds book to take home! It was a wonderful party for Mat and his friends — lots of fun and laughter! Space Mission Accomplished!
