Fruit themed events are super trendy right now. Why not allow it to serve as bridal shower inspiration as well. Our styled “You’re the Apple of my Eye” bridal shower shoot is inspiration for the non-traditional fall bride. While most apple themed events incorporate the warm yellows, oranges and browns, this shoot takes the classic fall apple theme and adds a sweet + chic feel. It was a pleasure working with the numerous vendors on this project.

First, the stationary I created on weddingpaperdivas.com was the focal point of what décor would paint the rest of the inspiration. The collection includes invitations with matching gold envelopes and return address labels. One of the most exclusive aspects was the custom stamps- so chic! Then came the favor tags, dessert labels, and menus.

The vision was carried out from the beginning when guests arrive to their place settings with fabulous rentals by All Occasions Event Rental and personalized chair signs handmade by Jessica Wolf of Paper Acorn. Follow the amazing desserts and apple décor on the sweet + drink bar which filled a large part of the space. The tablescape, including a fresh floral arrangement by Nina’s Florist and garnished pink chocolate coated candy apples for each lady to fill their sweet tooth. There were also fun pink + gold heart pencils found at Betsy White Stationary to write “Advice for Lori” and enclose in gold embellished envelopes for her to save for her special day.

I must say that a very special part of the design was the sweet + drink bar. The fresh apple cider was a family recipe handmade for the special day. That along with the apple juice matched the theme perfectly + paired with the fresh apples the theme is carried out to perfection. I couldn’t be more excited to add the desserts and décor to this bar. The desserts included mini apple pies, apple tarts, and mini naked vanilla apple spice cakes by Lydia Gray.

A big part of the shower inspiration was the ambiance of the space. This shoot was located in an intimate + small setting. It was garnished with fabulous satin ribbon hanging from the trees and bushes in various sizes and colors. The ribbon color patterns made the tablescape décor POP while blowing in the wind. This additional component of the inspiration collaboration is a one of a kind twist for the non-traditional fall bride.
