PARTY DETAILS, as told by Fransiska…
The theme for this 1st birthday was Vintage Airplane Around the World.
We chose gray and beige with a touch of red as the color palette.
We created a lot of DIYs for this party, which includes Invitations and the other printables (food and dessert labels, favor tags, place mats, personalized journal cover, game tickets).
Guest tables were adorned with blue balloons attached to miniature airplanes or rose blooms in mason jars on a library book. DIY placemats, personalized aluminum lunch boxes, and napkins wrapped in matching napkin rings were also set on the tables.
Upon “check in”, kids received a passport book that was filled with tickets to play the games and to take pictures at the flipbook photobooth. The passport books were personalized with their names on it.
Guests enjoyed an amazing spread of appetizers, salads, pizza, and assorted sandwiches. The food table was decorated with a hanging airplane, a vintage airplane set on a luggage, and beautiful ivory roses arranged in red goblets.
Activities & Party Favors
Guests, kids and adults alike, had so much fun playing ring toss, bean toss, and milk bottle toss. After playing each game, kids were allowed to pick one toy as a prize. Adults were The flipbook photobooth was a hit. The balloon artist kept small guests entertained. Last but not least, the bubble show really wowed the kids.
Kids went home with a cute vintage-looking mini luggage filled with snacks, juice, a personalized journal, and a pair of sun glasses.
The dessert table was one of the focal points of the party. The vintage dessert table featured a delectable selection of handmade desserts with a touch of whimsy vintage in the shades of red, pink, and blue. The trifles, lemon custards, pecan pies, and the macarons were made by Bella, a dear friend of ours. The birthday cake featured a stack of vintage luggages with a vintage red airplane on the top. The dessert table was also adorned with a beautiful vintage map as a backdrop.
